Spain – In devastating news for the football world, Liverpool and Portugal international Diogo Jota, 28, has tragically died alongside his brother Andre Silva following a car crash in Spain earlier today.

The incident occurred on a motorway near Seville, where the vehicle reportedly lost control and collided with a barrier before being struck by an oncoming lorry. Emergency services rushed to the scene but both men were pronounced dead shortly after their arrival.

Jota, a key figure at Liverpool FC since his move from Wolves in 2020, was widely admired for his work ethic, versatility, and clinical finishing.
