Kabeer Kher: “ Here Comes The Sun”

Here Comes The Sun

Here in the UK, the fear that is now regularly pushed by the mainstream media about the occasional day of sunshine, is quite frankly, bizarre!

The climate change religion dictates that every hot day be treated as “dangerous” and as further evidence of man made climate change.

The truth is that here in the UK we have the second least amount of sunshine in Europe and the fifth lowest in the world. Hot summer days are rarely more than 30 Degrees Celsius and in the North of the country rarely over 25. In a country like the UK we have more to fear from a lack of sunshine than from excess sunshine.

Vitamin D deficiency is a significant issue in the UK. About 1 in 5 adults and children have low vitamin D levels. Sunlight triggers the production of vitamin D in the skin, which is essential for healthy bones, immune function, and the absorption of calcium and phosphorus.

Vitamin D from sunlight supports the immune system, bone health and helps prevent diseases like osteoporosis. Sunshine boosts serotonin and endorphin levels, which can elevate mood and help reduce depression and anxiety.

Exposure to natural light helps regulate the circadian rhythm and melatonin production, leading to improved sleep quality.

Sunlight exposure can help lower blood pressure by triggering the release of nitric oxide in the skin, which dilates blood vessels. Moderate sun exposure is linked to a lower risk of type 1 diabetes, and multiple sclerosis.

Everything in nature turns to face the sun. It’s a fundamental feature of the way the natural world functions. To fear sunshine is to fear nature itself.

Nevertheless there is a significant portion of the population who think that the planet is facing a climate apocalypse. They’re convinced that the science on global warming is settled. That is simply not true. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of scientists who disagree with the climate catastrophe narrative. Not just any scientists, the most respected and highly educated scientists in the world.

Steve Koonin served as Under Secretary for Science at the U.S. Department of Energy in the Obama administration from 2009 to 2011. He has written a book called “Unsettled” where he set out in detail how “the science of climate is neither settled nor sufficient to dictate policy”.

John Clauser, who won the Nobel prize for physics, has stated repeatedly that in his opinion“there is no real climate crisis”.

Richard Lindzen, a professor from Harvard and MIT goes much further with his critique of the climate change movement.

“What historians will definitely wonder about in future centuries is how deeply flawed logic, obscured by shrewd and unrelenting propaganda, actually enabled a coalition of powerful special interests to convince nearly everyone in the world that CO2 from human industry was a dangerous, planet-destroying toxin. It will be remembered as the greatest mass delusion in the history of the world-that CO2, the life of plants, was considered for a time to be a deadly poison.”

Judith Curry was a reviewer for the IPCC Third Assessment Report, on the subject of atmospheric aerosols. She has been extremely critical of the IPCC and its methods, who she has accused of being corrupt.

She claims the IPCC is “torquing the science” to fit a particular narrative and that it sometimes violates its own rules, such as accepting non-peer-reviewed papers and appointing untested scientists who reinforce its message of impending catastrophe.

Patrick Moore joined the group that became Greenpeace in 1971, about a year after its founding, and quickly assumed a leadership role. He served as President of Greenpeace Canada for nine years and was a Director of Greenpeace International for seven years. He has described the idea that CO₂ is the main driver of climate change as “an unsubstantiated hypothesis,” arguing that CO₂ levels have been much higher in Earth’s past without causing catastrophic warming.

So it’s clear that the science is unsettled and therefore when the mainstream media present the science as if it is settled they are in fact using the story to sell fear to drive clicks and viewers.

It’s time for British people to turn off the TV, put down the propaganda, go outside and get some sunshine. We have nothing to fear but fear itself.
