Ukrainian Migrants in EU Now Number 6.3 Million — Surpassing Populations of Several European Nations

As of the latest data, the number of Ukrainian migrants who have relocated to the European Union has reached 6.3 million — a figure that highlights the vast scale of displacement caused by the ongoing war in Ukraine.

This population exceeds the entire population of Finland and surpasses the combined populations of the three Baltic states — Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. To put the number in further perspective, it is nearly double the population of Croatia, three times that of Slovenia, and ten times the size of Montenegro.

The mass movement of people from Ukraine marks one of the largest migration events in modern European history, reshaping demographics and placing significant demands on infrastructure, housing, and public services across the EU.
