Laura Loomer has ignited outrage online after calling for the deportation of Chinese President Jinping’s daughter
Far-right commentator Laura Loomer has ignited outrage online after calling for the deportation of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s daughter, claiming she is still living in the United States with protection from Chinese military guards.
Loomer took to X, formerly known as Twitter, posting in all caps: “DEPORT XI JINPING’S DAUGHTER!” She alleged that the Chinese leader’s only child, who graduated from Harvard University in 2014, now resides in Massachusetts and is guarded by members of China’s People’s Liberation Army on U.S. soil.
“She lives in Massachusetts and went to Harvard! Sources tell me PLA guards from the CCP provide her with private security in the U.S.!” Loomer claimed—though she offered no evidence or named sources.
The daughter of China’s most powerful man has largely remained out of the public eye. After completing her psychology degree at Harvard under heavy secrecy, The New Yorker reported in 2015 that she returned to China and has kept a low profile ever since.
Despite Loomer’s explosive claims, there is no public record or verified information confirming that she still resides in the U.S.
Loomer tagged prominent American political figures, including former President Donald Trump, in her post but has not elaborated on her allegations.
Newsweek has contacted Harvard University, the Chinese Embassy in Washington, and Loomer for comment.
