Reza Pahlavi demands regime overthrow in Iran

Reza Pahlavi, the eldest son of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the Shah of Iran, publicly called for the downfall of Iran’s leadership during a press conference in Paris.

“I have a direct message to Ali Khamenei: Step down,” Pahlavi declared, framing his appeal as a final ultimatum to the Iranian Supreme Leader.

He added, “And if you do, you will receive a fair trial and due process of law.” Naturally, he delivered the message in English—after all, most of his remaining supporters are comfortably settled in Los Angeles, not Tehran.
