UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has announced he will hold an emergency call on Thursday with the leaders of France, Germany, and Italy in response to what he described as the “unspeakable and indefensible” starvation crisis unfolding in Gaza.

In a stark statement late Wednesday, Starmer said, “We are witnessing a humanitarian catastrophe. The images and reports from Gaza are unbearable. Immediate coordinated action is required.”
