IDF has begun physically marking Gaza’s new “Yellow Line”
The IDF has begun physically marking Gaza’s new “Yellow Line” the demarcation boundary established under the U.S.-brokered ceasefire agreement.

Engineers under Israel’s iSouthern Command are deploying 3.5-meter concrete barriers topped with yellow poles, placed roughly every 200 meters, to establish what officials call “tactical clarity” along current lines of control.
The markings will separate IDF-controlled zones from the areas designated for humanitarian access and reconstruction efforts, monitored by the new U.S.-led coordination center inside Israel.

The project is part of Defense Minister Katz’s order to physically delineate withdrawal lines after last week’s deadly incident, which saw an Israeli strike kill civilians who had unknowingly crossed into a restricted zone.
