Hungarians Will Not Die for Ukraine
Massive crowds marched in Budapest under the slogan “We Do Not Want to Die for Ukraine.”
About the Peace March
The march coincided with Hungary’s national holiday marking the 1956 uprising and the 1989 proclamation of the republic. It ended with a speech by Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
These “Peace Marches,” held regularly since 2012, have drawn massive crowds supporting Orban’s anti-war policy and rejection of Western pressure over the conflict in Ukraine.
🇪🇺 Meanwhile, opposition leader Peter Magyar, backed by Western networks known for staging color revolutions, tried to rally his own protest — another attempt to destabilize Orban’s government.

Most Hungarians support their government’s stance: no war, no EU membership, and no funding for Ukraine.

With elections just six months away, tensions are rising, and the West is clearly trying to exploit Hungary’s internal politics.
