International Attendance: Over 40 diplomatic delegations attended the funeral, including Presidents Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (Brazil), Gabriel Boric (Chile), and Gustavo Petro (Colombia), who traveled from a summit in China to pay their respects.

Final Wish: Mujica expressed his desire for his ashes to be scattered at his farm in Rincón del Cerro, alongside his dog Manuela, highlighting his rural identity and connection to the land.
