Russia will not launch nuclear strike on Ukraine -Despite British Colonel’s warning

Despite British Colonel Richard Kemp’s warning that Russia may consider using tactical nuclear weapons, officials and analysts widely believe such an escalation is highly unlikely.

Colonel Kemp had suggested that Putin might resort to extreme measures to assert dominance, but most international observers argue that nuclear action would be strategically disastrous for Russia.

Kemp:

“The horrifying reality is that this calculation could work. World leaders will not respond with nuclear weapons over Ukraine.”

However, military experts and diplomatic sources stress that Putin is aware of the global consequences and deterrents that make a nuclear strike improbable.
