FLASH FLOOD WARNING HITS WASHINGTON D.C. REGION WITH OVER 2 MILLION AT RISK
Heavy rain is drowning the Beltway. A flash flood warning is in effect until 8:45 PM for DC, Alexandria, McLean, Silver Spring, Reagan Airport and surrounding cities.
Nearly 2.2 million people are in the path.
That includes 443 schools and 26 hospitals.
Water is rising fast.
Streets could turn deadly.
The National Weather Service says move now to higher ground and do not walk or drive into floodwaters.
This storm does not care if you’re late.
